Product FAQs

A BSoD is the name given to the error screen which involves Windows dumping all data from the physical memory (RAM) and shutting down Windows.

This can happen for many reasons and can either be a software or hardware related error. If you’re suffering from Blue Screens of Death it may be worthwhile contacting our support team on 01274 471210.

If the computer can still boot into Windows, it should have generated log files for the bluescreens in C:/Windows/Minidump. Our team can often diagnose the fault from these and in cases of a software problem can then advise on how to resolve it. We're happy to diagnose the blue screen log files on any system that we've built if they're emailed to pcsales@cclonline.com. Before attaching the files to an email we recommend copying them to another location such as the desktop, as Windows security often prevents attachments from the Minidump folder.
