How can I expand my wired network to allow for more wired devices?

If you’re wiring devices into your router and you don’t have any more available ports you can easily expand using a wired switch. The switch will need to connect to one port on your router, but it will then allow other devices connected to talk directly as though they were plugged into the router itself.
