Does my system need any special requirements to use a Solid State Drive (SSD)?

A solid state drive will work with any computer that is compatible with SATA drives however as sold state drives are 2.5"; in form factor you will need an adapter bracket to fit them into a standard PC case as the standard in a PC case is usually 3.5”
