Do you have you a question about the AVP RGB Modding Kit 3x12cm Fans/2xLED Strips/1xRemote Control?

Q: I have one question please. I bought this item today and it works fine (everything is on). But the only problem is that i cannot change the rgb effects, modes (idk why.) My remote control is working, the battery is good as well, but i think it does not make good contact with the fan hub, as it was supposed to do. I read the manual and I dont understand what to do.

Did you take out the little plastic tab that is inserted in the battery compartment on the Remote control ? If so, try using the remote control very close to the computer, once it connects with the hub it normally operates fine after that initial difficult contact

Q: if i were to buy this kit and a single extra fan would it work or are they linked just to the ones in the pack

the fan kit has a hub, the hub only takes 2 x led strips (3 pin, NOT 5v argb) and 8 x fans (5 pin), all the connections are proprietary so you wouldn't be able to connect any other fans to it unless confirmed compatible by AVP

The value for money of this product is extremely good, what you get out of this product in my opinion rivals the others for much cheaper. Although, one of my fans doesn't spin up some times, which goes to show that they can be unreliable. Overall, for the 16 I spent on these I am very happy with the result despite the unreliability.

Fantastic product, would highly recommend, extremely quiet running fans alot of option with the rgb control very impressed only problem is you can not connect directly to motherboard or reset switch
