Service information during the COVID-19 pandemic

Welcome to our Service Updates. Information is provided here about each aspect of the business and how it is running during the COVID-19 pandemic, to give you a better idea of any potential issues or delays that could occur.

Leeds/Bradford Showroom - updated 19th April 2021

Status - Limited Operation

Our showroom is open for customers to enter and place orders. We have been working hard to ensure that our showroom for customers and our staff is safe - our demonstration displays and PCs are disabled and we may limit the number of customers allowed in at any one time. Only card payments are accepted (contactless is available for lower-value orders), and masks or face coverings must be worn on-site.

Where possible, we recommended ordering online or over the phone for collection prior to arrival.

Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm (Wednesdays Closed)
Saturday: 9am - 5pm
Sunday: Closed

Collection Point - updated 19th April 2021

Status - Limited Operation

Our Collection Point is open for Click & Collect orders. We have been working hard to ensure that our system for customers and staff is safe and we kindly ask you to read the below:

Opening times:

Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm (Wednesdays Closed)
Saturday: 9am - 5pm
Sunday: Closed

Important Click & Collect information:

- Only card payments are accepted (contactless is available for lower-value orders)
- Masks or face coverings must be worn on-site
- Orders over £50 will require a 10% non-refundable deposit, which is paid on the website when the order is placed. This value will be deducted from the total when you pay on collection

Returns - updated 19th April 2021

Status - Limited Operation

Postal returns

Customers who need to return a product can do so through our postal returns system.

All customer returns and RMAs will be quarantined for at least 72 hours before processing as a health and safety precaution. As such, please expect a delay on processing a return.

Please note, due to the current lockdown we are unable to offer our Returns Drop-off service. All returns must go through our postal returns system.

 

Returns via our Showroom

From Monday 19th April, customers will be able to use our Returns Drop-off Service at our showroom. 

Please read the below carefully to avoid disappointment and wasted journeys:

- Customers must raise an RMA with our contact centre staff prior to using the Returns Drop-off Service

- Customers should wear masks on-site

- RMAs will not be processed while you wait

- We will not be offering technical or sales support, the service is drop-off only

- Returned items will be quarantined for 72 hours after receipt

Online Delivery Orders - updated 20th April 2021

Status - Normal Operation

Orders for delivery will continue as normal. We are working as quickly as we can to get your orders out to you, although there is the possibility of delays on some deliveries.

Our delivery cut-off times are as follows:

- Royal Mail cut-off for orders is 16:30

- DPD cut-off for orders is 17:00

Royal Mail are seeing an unprecedented number of parcels and due to the challenges at the current time are struggling to deliver as promptly as usual in some areas which may result in some deliveries are taking longer than normal.

Contact Centre - updated 19th April 2021

Status - Normal Operation

Our phone lines are currently operating between the hours of 09:00 and 17:30, Monday to Friday. We are also fully engaged on email and live chat if you prefer to contact us that way. 

System Build / System Repairs - updated 19th April 2021

Status - Normal Operation

Our build times are a little longer than usual during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have some staff who are vulnerable and unable to work and others who are required to self-isolate as a precaution.

Where it is possible, we also have as many employees as we can working from home to protect them. All said we are functioning as normal and working well, we simply wish to advise that lead times may be a little longer than usual.

Some system repairs are also affected by a slightly longer turnaround.

MendIT warranty repairs

Due to the limited amount of staff as a result of COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, MendIT warranty repairs have extended their lead times. Currently, system repairs can take between 3-4 weeks.

Please note that there is an exceptionally high demand for computer equipment which allows people to work from home. This may cause unexpected delays; however, our team is working hard to ensure all orders are fulfilled. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
