COVID-19 Service Update

CCL service updates regarding the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.

Contact Centre - updated 10th October 2020

Status - Normal Operation

Our phone lines are currently running their normal weekday operating hours of between 09:00 and 17:30, Monday - Friday, although they are closed on weekends. We are also fully engaged on email and live chat if you prefer to contact us that way.

Please note: At this time, our PC Sales team is experiencing a very high level of calls and emails so responses may take longer than usual. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Leeds/Bradford Showroom - updated 16th September 2020

Our showroom is currently closed at this time. Please visit the website to place an order for collection or call our Sales Team on 01274 471201 for Sales advice. Do not come to the Collection Point to place an order - staff in our Collection Point will not be able to place orders for you or offer sales advice.

Collection Point - updated 16th September 2020

Status - Limited Operation

Our Collection Point is open Monday - Friday, between 10:00 and 17:00 for Click & Collect orders only. We have been working hard to ensure that our system for customers and staff is safe and we kindly ask you to read the below:


Important Click & Collect information:

- Opening times: Monday - Friday, 10AM - 5PM (Saturday Closed)
- The Collection Point will be open for Click & Collect orders only
- The Showroom is closed - browsing is not permitted and orders cannot be placed on premises. Please use the website to place a collection order
- Orders must be placed in advance for collection only - they cannot be placed on premises
- You must wait for confirmation that your order is ready to collect by text message or e-mail, before collecting your order. Do not come to collect your order without this as it will not be ready
- Only card payments are accepted (contactless is available for lower-value orders). Cash will not be accepted
- Masks or face coverings must be worn on entry
- Limit of 2 customers at the collection point at any one time
- Markers are present to help customers and staff keep at least 2 metres apart
- Orders over £50 will require a 10% non-refundable deposit, which is paid on the website when the order is placed. This value will be deducted from the total when you pay on collection

Online Delivery Orders - updated 3rd August 2020

Status - Normal Operation

Orders for delivery will continue as normal. We are working as quickly as we can to get your orders out to you, although there is the possibility of delays on some deliveries.


Our delivery cut-off times are as follows:

- Royal Mail cut-off for orders is 04:30PM

- DPD cut-off for orders is 05:00PM

- Saturday cut-off for orders is 02:30PM

Please note that DPD is no longer offering the Ship-to-Shop service, where parcels are delivered to local shops instead of your home or work address. We have temporarily switched this delivery option off.

We have also temporarily switched off the Post Office Local Collect service.

Royal Mail are seeing an unprecedented number of parcels and due to the challenges at the current time are struggling to deliver as promptly as usual in some areas which may result in some deliveries are taking longer than normal.

Returns - updated 27th July 2020

Status - Limited Operation

Postal returns

Customers who need to return a product can do so through our postal returns system.

All customer returns and RMAs will be quarantined for at least 72 hours before processing as a health and safety precaution. As such, please expect a delay on processing a return.


Returns via our Showroom

From Monday 27th July, customers will be able to use our Returns Drop-off Service at our showroom. 

Please read the below carefully to avoid disappointment and wasted journeys:

Returns Drop-off Service will only operate Monday-Friday 09:00 to 17:30

- Customers must raise an RMA with our contact centre staff prior to using the Returns Drop-off Service

- Customers should wear masks

- RMAs will not be processed while you wait

- We will not be offering technical or sales support, the service is drop-off at the door only

- Returned items will be quarantined for 72 hours after receipt

System Build / System Repairs - updated 27th July 2020

Status - Normal Operation

Our build times are likely to be a little longer than usual during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have some staff who are vulnerable and unable to work and others who are required to self-isolate as a precaution.

Where it is possible, we also have as many employees as we can working from home to protect them. All said we are functioning as normal and working well, we simply wish to advise that lead times may be a little longer than usual.

Some system repairs are also affected by a slightly longer turnaround.

MendIT warranty repairs

Due to the limited amount of staff as a result of COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, MendIT warranty repairs have extended their lead times. Currently, system repairs can take between 3-4 weeks.

Please note that there is an exceptionally high demand for computer equipment which allows people to work from home. This may cause unexpected delays; however, our team is working hard to ensure all orders are fulfilled. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
