Post Answer
Q: Can this case take long graphics cards like amd r9 290, if not can you recommend the cheapest case that you can supply that would be suitable
Answer by Website User on 15th September 2014
I'd think an R9 290 would be a tight fit in this case. The CiT Neptune should be OK with one, as it has a recessed hard drive bay. -Danlevan

Just excellent no more to be said

Gets the job done for such a cheap case and can fit a surprising amount of hardware, metal is low quality and flexes essily.

I think I left a previous poor review for this product. Here is a revised one now I understand the screw placements for installing drives. There's nothing wrong with the position of the screw holes. Overall, it's a good case for the money. A little flimsy and the front USB 3 port doesn't work. But at this price level that's typical.

Cheap case which does the job. Watch out for sharp edges at the back.

Good service

July 2019

Was really a bit too small for a non-modular PSU, so definitely go modular or very basic PSU. Chamfering at the edge of the 5.25" bays means the optical drive (if fitted) will protrude at the edges or you have to set the drive back and it doesn't meet the bay covers (both ways look wrong IMO). Does have an SSD bay so doesn't need a tray. The fan is basic and molex (who uses these any more?) so really a speed control fan would be better but for a basic build I would take it out. It looks maybe a bit fancy if the build is not, but then there are many worse and boring looking cases. You need a USB 3 header on the board to use the front USB 3 port.

There can be no better review of an item than by someone who builds desktop p.c's for other people. This is the third storm midi tower I have worked on and depending on what the client wants will always put forward this case. Very well built, value for money and a good cable routing system
