Fantastic board that offers all the features that any serious overclocker would ever need! On board power, reset and safe boot buttons and a solid VRM that ensures clean power to the CPU Combine this with onboard support for USB 2, 3 and USB C and 8 sata ports, 3 PCIe slots and 2 M2 slots and all your peripherals are covered. The board also has 4 RGB headers and its on onboard lighting to cater to anyone who loves to make their system look cool Supplied by CCL Computers who once again offered a fantastic service!

What is there not to like about this Motherboard. This has got to be one of the best options out there for anyone who likes to overclock their system and get the most out of it. A rock solid VRM that assures a clean, efficient power supply to your CPU and heat is never going to be a problem. Onboard power and reset switches, combined with a slow motion switch ensures that this board is a powerhouse for when you overclock on a test bench. Any problems you encounter can quickly be remedied at the push of a button with the on-board safe-boot switch. Two PCIe 4 M2 slots give you plenty of scope for onboard SSD storage combined with a total of 8 onboard sata sockets to ensure that storage and expansion will never be a problem. This board also supports RAID 0,1 and 10 configurations allowing for plenty of customisation with your storage set ups Excellent quality onboard sound via Supreme FX 1220 and the standard 6 outputs on the rear IO panel ensure that any sound system up to 7.1 is easily catered for. The board also has 4 RGB headers for those that like RGB in their system and the board itself has inbuilt RGB lighting that is stylish yet subtle so as not to become too intrusive. For those that don't like this sort of thing it can easily be switched off in the BIOS The board also supports 12 USB ports on the rear in a mixture of gen 1 and 2 configurations and there is also onboard support for a front mounted USB C which is common on a lot of modern PC cases. The rear IO panel also has both a CLEAR CMOS button and a BIOS FLASH button allowing you to update to the new Ryzen 5000 series of CPU's without the need to have a CPU and memory currently installed on the board. Overall I cannot recommend this board highly enough. It covers everything I would expect to need to overclock a PC system and more besides. Also being manufactured by ASUS ensures that you are receiving a quality component that will last for years to come!

This ROG motherboard is my first AMD motherboard (pairing with a Ryzen 9 5950x) but i have used the ROG brand several times in the past for intel platforms. Got to say, this motherboard is top quality like all the ROG gear i have used in the past. The 2 pcie gen-4 M.2 slots work blazingly quick loading up and operating system and programs you use, not to mention the userfriendly bios that allows you to quickly and easily set up raid setups with your drives. The cooling on the VRMs is decent enough to allow for plenty of overclocking headroom on your cpu, but if you do require more, EKWB provide a very nice RGB monoblock to cover any addition headroom you should require. The motherboard comes with all the connections you could need and comes with plenty of RGB connections should this be to your taste. The onboard RGB is just the right amount without overdoing it should fancy lighting not be your thing. Otherwise, cannot say a bad thing about this board, fingers crossed this lasts me many years like all the other asus gear i have. Highly Recommended

This is a fantastic high-quality feature rich motherboard which is quite frankly overkill for both my own and many other users needs. There is little left to want for with a board of this calibre, except maybe one more M.2 slot and passive chipset cooling (the latter reserved for only the flagship models), that said you do gain many more USB ports in return which is very welcome. I bought this over the Gigabyte Aorus Master (which was a good 30 cheaper) as I wanted to avoid its known BIOS reset bug, the ROG Crosshair in comparison appears to have a much better track record at least on paper (time will tell). Just a note that the BIOS flashback feature is useful in getting this board ready for AMD Ryzen 5000 CPUs without any hardware installed. Just make sure you are downloading Bios for the Wifi model and not the Non-Wifi model, as the flashback process wont proceed without the file name being correct. An all-round solid board for any Ryzen gaming rig, if you can justify the cost!
