Find Your PC
Gaming PCs are built for gamers and the games they play. To find your perfect PC, you need a specification that is right for you and the games you want to play. To make it even easier, you can follow these two simple steps to Find Your PC!
Step 1: What games do you want to play?
Whether it's playing platformer games, first-person shooters, exploring vast universes, or sharing gameplay with the world on Twitch, a gaming PC can do it all.
Entry Level
Popular with younger gamers, families and those who play less demanding games, an Entry Level gaming PC is a great way to get into PC gaming without a big budget. Perfect for games such as Roblox and Minecraft, an entry level gaming pc will often include an Intel Core i3 / Intel Core i5 processor, or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU, using integrated graphics or a great value NVIDIA GTX graphics card.
Variety / Casual
With a plethora of games available, why stick choose one genre? The Variety / Casual gaming PC can handle many different genres, ranging from AAA to sports. A mid-range to high end gaming PC is usually recommended. Mid range processors like the Intel Core i5, ranging from 12th to 13th generation, and AMD Ryzen 5 offer excellent performance in most gaming genres.
Esports / Competitive
When every single frame counts, and hardware speed means the difference between victory and defeat, an Esports / Competitive gaming PC needs to have the ability to outplay your opponents every time. Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7 processors are perfect for performance in Esports games, along with Ryzen 7 CPUs from AMD. An NVIDIA RTX 30 or 40 series graphics card will also ensure you get smooth visuals and high framerates.
RPG / Open World
With vast worlds to explore, epic battles to wage, and unchartered lands to conquer, the RPG / Open World gaming PC is designed to handle these demanding visuals and expansive games. Recommended processors are 12th or 13th Gen Intel Core i7 CPUs. For AMD systems, a Ryzen 7000-Series CPU is perfect for handling these large games. An NVIDIA RTX 40 Series graphics card is a must to ensure the visuals are on point.
AAA / Simulator
The AAA / Simulator gaming PC is a powerhouse, designed for gaming purists to manage the latest technologies such as Ray Tracing and DLSS, and hit the highest framerates for buttery smooth visuals. Gaming PCs using Intel's 13th-Gen processors are perfect for handling demanding games, alongside a reliable NVIDIA GeForce 40 Series graphics card, such as the RTX 4070.
Step 2: Find Your PC
Although the above is not an exhaustive list of categories, you should now have a general idea of the type of games your new PC will be playing.
Now it's time to find your PC.
Every gamer is unique, and a PC has many uses - so we understand that buying a gaming PC is a very personal thing.

FAQ
What specification do I need for a gaming computer?
Each component in a gaming computer should be carefully chosen to work perfectly with each other, and deliver the performance you expect. Usually, the processor and graphics card are the most important aspect of the specification, but a gaming PC is much more than those two components.
The memory, storage and even the power supply unit are all very important, with the motherboard being the core component that connects all of your hardware, keeping your gaming PC running smoothly. For reliability, adequate cooling is important for both your case and your hardware, so it is important to have excellent airflow and an air or liquid cooling system to keep things running at optimal temperatures.
You can find out more about each component in our Gaming PC Buying Guide.
How much is a gaming PC?
Gaming PCs are available at various price points and with numerous specifications, from low cost entry level PCs to high end gaming rigs with the latest technology. Both AMD and Intel offer affordable processors, and you can get extremely good value motherboards with the right specification for your needs. If you want the very best visuals and graphics performance, then you could choose a gaming PC that houses an NVIDIA RTX 40 Series graphics card, and cutting edge CPU technology - but if you are happy playing games on lower graphics settings, then an NVIDIA GTX, AMD RX 6000 Series, or even an older RTX 30 Series GPU would be more suitable.
If you know the specification you want for your gaming PC, and you have a budget in mind, you can choose from the list of price points below:
