AMD has been hard at work on their Tahiti LE GPU and Powercolor are ready to role out some new hardware based around the new GPU. The announcement comes in the form of the PCS+ HD 7870 Myst Edition, not the catchiest name ever, but it'll do.
While the card isn't labeled a Tahiti LE based card, it really is! featuring the same 1536 stream processors, improved power efficiency and same PCB as the PCS+ HD 7870.
As some of you may know, AMD isn't shipping a reference PCB for the new Tahiti chips, instead leaving it to partners to develop their own, hence why we see Powercolor and others reusing their previous PCB with the new hardware.
