With the launch of the GTX 650 finally upon us, the latests range of budget friendly graphics card from Nvidias partners are being steadily announced and released. Today is no different either with the announcement of this new card from Gigabyte, with an overclocked edition of the new GTX 650 Ti graphics card appearing for pre-order online.
Just like the current 2GB edition of the Gigabyte GTX 650 Ti the new GTX 650 Ti OC and GV-N65TOC-1GI will be fitted out with the ever popular Windforce cooler, the Ultra Durable 2 design and ferrite core chokes, low RDS MOSFETS and all-solid capacitors, so at the very least the card should be reliable and stable.
With an expected overclock of 1032Mhz but a stock memory clock of 5400MHz, HDMI, D-Sub and a pair of DVI ports its certainly a tempting offer for around 140 Euros. It also sounds to me like Gigabyte have played it a little safe on this card in terms of overclock. While the 650 is said to be a good overclocked, as seen here by the 1032Mhz core clock, the increase in cooler capability as well as the upgraded power components lead me to think this card can achieve more, but we won't know until we have had chance to tinker with one ourselves.
Gigabyte GTX 650 Ti OC
The GTX 650 follows hot on the heels of the still massively popular GTX 560 Ti, one of the best selling cards of this generation and still a great card today, so it will be interesting to see just how well the 650 takes off over these next few months. Will you be picking up the 650 Ti?
