The GTX680 SLI does have some impressive power behind it, but I’d have to say that’s more down to the fact the GTX680 is such a power house rather than the scaling. In quite a few titles I found the scaling to be rather poor, I’m not sure if that’s early drivers, a CPU bottleneck or the cards throttling itself (Although I can’t see it being the latter).
Once drivers are more refined, I’d be interested to see other peoples verdicts on the GTX680 scaling, or at least putting a GTX680 SLI through its paces on either a 3D set up or a higher resolution such as 2560x1440.
At the end of the day, the end performance is superb and I can’t fault that, but would I be looking into a GTX680 SLI myself for 1920x1080? Probably not.
