While I don’t generally specialise in new PC builds, a little while ago I had the opportunity to put together a certain very high end system using the MasterCase Maker 5 case. I’ve seen (and built in) a few of the previous MasterCase units, but this was the first time I’d had my hands on with the Maker.
Despite being released around last summer there weren’t that many units around until later in the year so many likely haven’t had any experience with the case and I thought people may be interested to know what it’s like to build in, so I’ve decided to kill two birds with one stone and review the case itself both as a separate piece of hardware and to discuss the process of building in it.
So, first up we have Cooler Master’s exhaustive specifications:
Whew! As you can see, the case isn’t lacking in expansion options or cooling support. What isn’t quite as evident from numbers though is the sheer size of the thing.
