This is the second Samsung S24D330H that I've bought (I still have and use the first every day), bought because of the quality and clarity of the screen, and of course the comparatively low price and value for money. It's good image quality and operation is something that one buys and then forgets because it does its job without complaining. I haven't noticed any degradation at-all in the one I've had for a couple of years and that's why I bought another (that, and the fact I've just bought FS2020 and wanted another screen for flight planning! lol)
This is a good, reliable, very responsive and vividly clear monitor. I would say that if one has any clarity issues with it I would say that it's most likely to be the graphics card that's the issue as both S24D330H monitors I have perform extremely well on my NVIDIA 980 graphics card, so I know they are capable of doing the job.
I also have a high end 3rd monitor, but to be honest visually the difference between them isn't that much between the high end monitor and these Samsungs. I notice that the S24D330H have a very slightly more saturated colour range, so adjustment (easy to do) is needed if doing photographic work, but for every day use quite excellent.
