At a time when gpus are hard to get hold of with out being well over priced. But not this time card was in stock at a fair price derived next day. Will be using them for all my pc parts from now on

Good services

Had the card for about 8 months now, very happy with it. The price has since skyrocketed. Fans very quiet, most of the time they are not required. Very nice back plate and RGB, can be turned off if you wish. Performance wise, it is a beast. I have it in the large case, does need the support, otherwise it sags a little as it is quite heavy. The support comes with the card too. Good thermals, below 70 degrees when playing 4K with ray tracing on.

Really impressed with the build quality of this card, please however make sure you consider the dimensions as it is a long card and is also heavy so will need a support bracket. Performance wise this card is an absolute beast (running cyberpunk ultra settings @60c).

I'll start with the cons: expensive, long, and incredibly heavy. MSI Dragon Centre is some of the worst software imaginable. Limited RGB customisability due to Dragon Centre. Will struggle to fit into smaller mid-tower cases such as the NZXT H510. But if you can deal with the above negatives, it is one of the strongest 3080 cards on the market. I've managed to push the already overclocked card to 2.1ghz on the core clock and +900mhz on the memory. Temperatures under load don't usually exceed 66C, and that's in my oven of a Phanteks Evolv ATX case. Compared to a Gigabyte RTX 3080 Eagle OC, I have noticed a marginal 10-15fps increase across most AAA titles. If you want to the best of the best, this is the card to go for. If you're not interested in overclocking your graphics card and just want something to play the latest releases at maxed out settings at 60fps+ you can go for cheaper, less attractive, alternatives.

Fantastic graphics card, I was lucky enough to snipe one from the CCL store when it got listed. I did overpay at 1,100 but given how difficult they are to come by and that it's not likely to change anytime soon it's worth it in my opinion.

Never did I think I would spend over 1k on a graphics card, welcome to 2021! The card itself (however expensive it may be) oozes quality, it weighs a substantial amount, so much so I knew it would be whisper quiet with the amount of copper bolted to it. It looks every inch the high end card it is, and the support bracket designed to help with the weight of the card is a welcome inclusion in the box. It massively out performs my old 1080ti, is cool and quite even with everything turned to ultra (4k 43" monitor) and comfortably runs most games well in excess of 60fps. This will be my gaming card for a good number of years unless Heidis somehow manage to triple the performance of it in the next couple of years (which I cant see happening). Excellent product all round.

Rarer than Unicorn tears, this 3080 is an absolute beast of a GPU. It also has a pricetag to make your eyes bleed. I was running a GTX1660ti which is no slouch and ran everything I play, Elite, DCS and MS flight sim, all in VR at high settings. This card will take that to ultra easily. If you go for this card, make sure it will fit in your case as it is huge, I think it is the longest GPU available. I have it in a Corsair obsidian and had to remove the middle set of drive bays. It does come with an adjustable support and I would suggest you find the room to fit it. Also, an 850w modular PSU is recommended as it needs 3, 8-pin power plugs and they are better if they are separate supplies rather than a splitter. Overall, I am very pleased with the card, it's only 10% slower than it's 3090 sibling and half the price. If you can get hold of one, I would highly recommend it. I bought mine at CCL computers and I'd recommend them too.

This card takes anything you can throw at it. 4k at 60fps on taxing games with everything on max settings. Build quality is great - it can take some abuse (which was lucky as getting it into my HAF full tower case involved hacksaws). MSI software is great, and the instructions were very good. Only minor complaint: the RGB doesn't seem to interface perfectly with my Corsair iCUE + Asus Aura sync settings. This is annoying because I can't set it to smart colouring (to match GPU temperature) on the main strip... But not a huge deal (can route the temp to a different mobo RGB array instead).

More expensive than should be, alright card, much better than 3090 for money

Absolutely amazing card. Sure it's a big boy at 33cm and just fits into my Meshify C with some fan rearrangment. It's also heavy and requires a stand to hold it up but it's powerful and so far has smashed through any game I've thrown at it. Its also near silent in comparison to my 980ti. Love it!

Does what it says on the tin. It processes graphics.

So unfortunately I have to rate CCL as one of the worst company's to buy from for my expensive parts (GPUs). Least OC can out my GPU in a box where it's nicely protected I'm transit!... My corner of the Suprim X 3080 was crumpled in from delivery. Was only wrapped in a tiny plastic wrap that disappointed me. Prices are now shambles. This GPU has rose a further 200since I purchased with me paying 890 100over Rrp.

Goods delivered quickly and at a fairer price than competitors. Some mark up but more reasonable than others. EDIT - THIS CARD WAS 880GBP. I PAID 880GBP. DO NOT PAY 1100. PROFITEERING. DISGUSTING.

Excellent graphics card, quite and cool. Price way above msrp though.

One of the more expensive 3080 GPU's but at the time of ordering it was close enough to my next alternative brands that I spent the 30 extra compared to an Asus TUF OC card. The box is pretty, slick, well packaged with plenty of foam padding. The card itself is enormous so make sure you're certain you have the room for it. The RGB is bright and by default smoothly flows through the rainbow. The shroud is a little boxy but it's super solid and screams quality. It comes with an anti-sag support consisting of a solid metal rod, foot and locking support arm. The support feels a little like an afterthought as it could fit the card a little better but it again it screams quality. Performance wise it's a top end 3080, runs amazingly as you'd expect. Control, Horizon Zero Dawn and Cyberpunk with every setting cranked to maximum are buttery smooth at 2560x1600@60. Plan to push it further soon with an ultrawide higher refresh rate monitor that I know this card will be able to drive. Apart from price and current availability there's only really 2 downsides to the card. MSI's Dragon Center, for RGB control, is not well liked, so I've personally avoided it, there is some 3rd party software that can help out with this though. Second is to make sure your PSU can handle the load, my Corsair HX1000 hasn't given any problems, since it needs 3x8 pin PCIe connecters ideally on different cables. Though you'd really want to get some custom PCIe cables/extensions to attach as default Corsair cables do take away from the showy-ness of the card.

A lovely product, though oversold in terms of its ability to remain silent unless playing older games which dont tax it as much. It looks and feels very premium, and has a price tag to match. I believe it should have had an MSRP of 810 at launch, and I paid considerably more than that. Of course it performs the same as every other variant out there, but its proper massive so stays at a decent temperature whilst being quite quiet (but not silent as claimed, I measured 34dBA under heavy load, 50% fan speed and 77C with the silent bios. Gaming bios should be cooler and louder but I havent tested that). It only just fits in my case and I had to angle it a bit to get it in past the rim around the side opening.
