ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED is powered by up to a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-12700H processor that makes light work of super-complex, heavily multithreaded, photorealistic rendering, visualization, simulation or analysis applications. This 14-core processor gives you a mobile workstation with professional performance, easily outperforming mainstream models to make your creative workflow effortless. For the ultimate performance, you can enable Performance mode, which automatically increases the CPU power limit value from 45 to 75 W sustained, or 95 W temporarily, and adjusts the fan speed setting to keep the processor cool enough for maximum performance.

Keeping a powerhouse like ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED cool is vital for top performance, but unwanted noise is the enemy of creativity. We’ve designed the ASUS IceCool Pro cooling system to let the mighty Intel CPU run comfortably at a blistering 140 watts total TDP (50 W CPU and 90 W GPU) in Performance mode — with no throttling. This remarkable feat of engineering uses dual 102-aerofoil blade fans, the world’s first to use over 100 blades. The slim aerofoil blades are made from side-chain liquid crystal epoxy polymer (SCP): the quiet, power-efficient 3D-curved design increases airflow by 16%. The precision-applied liquid metal on the CPU cooler maximizes heat dissipation, enabling a 29% package power improvement. Six heat pipes and seven intelligent sensors ensure optimum cooling performance, while keeping everything quiet — under 40 dBA in Standard mode — so you can concentrate on the task at hand without distractions. In addition, ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED features NVIDIA’s AI-powered WhisperMode 2.0, which gives you even more control over the laptop’s fans so you can balance performance and acoustics.

Maximum heat dissipation for the pinnacle of performance
Cooling is one of the greatest challenges for high-performance laptops, and ProArt Studiobook is the first ASUS creator laptop to incorporate fully-automated, machine-applied liquid metal technology. The liquid metal is applied between the CPU heat sink, and it’s extremely effective at transferring thermal energy. Manually-applied liquid metal can short-circuit the motherboard if it leaks onto any of the circuitry. Dust, debris and other human-induced contamination during the application process can also impair connections near the CPU cooler. With our fully-automated process the liquid metal is applied evenly and precisely only where it’s needed. This ensures maximum heat dissipation and also the reliable operation of your laptop.
During rigorous testing, ASUS engineers have observed a performance boost of up to 9.4% in the Cinebench score, and a 29% improvement in the package power wattage*5 when liquid metal is used with the latest 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i9 CPUs. Its ability to quickly lower CPU temperature helps processors sustain higher clock speeds for longer, and helps to prevent fans from ramping up and creating unwanted noise.

With the increase in remote working and video conferences, we’ve strengthened the ASUS AI Noise-Canceling Technology with built-in 4-array microphones to further enhance 360° sound reception. The AI noise canceling technology employs machine learning thereby isolating unwanted noise from human speech. Via the MyASUS app, users can switch between the Microphone Single-Presenter mode, which can filter out ambient noise, to the Multi-Presenter mode which picks up all individual voices from different positions for optimum group conference-call quality. In addition, the AI Noise-Canceling Speaker feature filters out all ambient noise apart from human speech — so you’ll hear what everyone else is saying.
