Asus last updated the Linux driver in 2012 so it may not be compatible with modern distributions. We unfortunately have no way to test to say for certain. -Danlevan

Q: Hi ,bought this card about 3 months ago from you and i am having issues getting it installed.My CD drive isn't able to read the disc that comes with it so cant install drivers from there, Have downloaded drivers from the asus website and installed them. When i open the asus utility program it says your wireless card isn't connected to you're computer which it is and also i cant find the device under network adapters in the device manager.

Q: Does this card support Wake on Wireless LAN? How to active it? Because I already looked on the device manager, but I can't check the box for "wake on wireless lan"... It looks like it's "desabled"...

Q: Hi there, will the choice I make in wireless card affect what download speeds I will get? I currently use a laptop with wireless internet connection and get about 1MB/s download speeds, will this be affected b which card I pick up? Do wireless cards have limits?

A wireless N 300Mbps card will give you a faster wireless connection than an N 150, however if your internet connection is lower than 150Mbps then you wouldn't see any performance difference for your internet use. -Danlevan

Q: Hello, can you please confirm if this wireless adapter card will provide a good connection in comparison to home plugs? Also will it be sufficient to pick up a strong signal from my Sky hub router which will be one floor below. Thanks, Kam

This will give a 300Mbps wireless connection, however it is impossible to speculate on its performance in your house compared to homeplugs. As homeplugs are not affected by interference from walls and ceilings you could find you get better performance from them. -Danlevan

I bought my aging mother a PC to use as a media centre, but the tiny little thumbnail-sized "Wifi adaptor" supplied with the PC wasn't any good. My pre-purchase research showed that ASUS were "running the show" as far as Wifi cards go, so made the decision to get one of their fine products. Now, I would have gone for one of the more powerful ASUS Wifi cards, but they wouldn't have fitted onto the motherboard (as HP saw fit to put 4 big ugly capacitors right where it would have been seated, for some reason). So the N15 was the best choice. The N15 card worked straight out of the box (on a Win 10 Pro system), and no drivers needed to be installed at all - so the N15 was doing its job only 10 minutes after it arrived in the mail! Connectivity is good, and the speed is perfectly adequate for streaming old episodes of "Greys Anatomy", etc, for my mum. What's not to like?
