AXIS A1001 Network Port Controller is a non-proprietary platform for management access that meets the needs of advanced business systems and small installations systems. AXIS A1001 is open to third-party software, which allows the unit to be integrated solutions provided by Axis Partners. The system comes complete with standard IT equipment, readers, door locks and door position sensors that meet the needs of the facility. The controller is designed for mounting on walls and ceiling, and the classification plenum eliminates the need for an extra case, if the assembly is held in recessed ceilings. The use of Power over Ethernet technology reduces the need to use separate cables to the power of door accessories and proprietary data cables. The connectors of the units, which are colour-coded, and the setup wizard allow more efficient installations and foolproof.
