A professional codec ensures precise sound performance, an optimized amplifier gives you louder volumes, while larger speakers and resonance chambers deliver powerful audio output and deeper bass. Additional signal processing helps fine tune the hardware, filtering noise and improving audio clarity so you can enjoy unrivalled audio on your X Series.

SonicMaster-enhanced audio

Tuned by the ASUS Golden Ear team with the goal of providing you with the best PC notebook audio, SonicMaster is a mix of hardware and software that gives ASUS X Series notebooks crystal-clear sound delivery. Q: How will this laptop perform in games?
Answer by Dan@CCL on 28th November 2016
Generally it's going to be lower to mid performance. I'd recommend looking you YouTube for videos of the games you're wanting to play and the processor, so 'GTA V A8-7410' for example if you were wanting to play that and you should find a number of benchmark videos. -Danlevan

Post Answer
Q: What is the specific GPU? I don't want the generic "AMD R5 Graphics" answer, I need to know the full name.
Answer by Website User on 28th November 2016
It doesn't have a "dedicated GPU" as such - as this is an AMD APU, the R5 graphics are built into the processor, and are simply listed by AMD as "Radeon R5 Series". You can see this link for more information -> http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Puma/AMD-A8-Series%20A8-7410.html -Danlevan

Sadly, this quite high spec. laptop suffers from several quality issues. First, the lettering on the keys isn't white but a faint grey, making it quite difficult to see, especially the very small symbols on the Fn keys and some of the punctuation and even worse in low light. Secondly, The Touchpads button clicks are horrible and sound really cheap and loud. Thirdly, the keyboard actually sags quite a lot in the middle when any of the central keys are pressed. It feels very cheap. Lastly, the initial Windows update took over 6 hours to complete. In short, I'm really not happy with it and will be returning it.
