Can't us it because, The motherboard cannot detect CPU Ryzen 5 5600x

Works well, and is a really thick motherboard almost no flex to it at all when installing cpu cooler and powerr connectors/ram rgb on it is sparce but just enough to add flair and the gpu i have hides the parts of it i was worried about all around i could not imagine a better motherboard

Needed a bios flash for a 5600 CPU but the flash button made this process easy as pie,would recommend for novice builders like me

The classic board that'll suit just about any build. AM4 continues to be one of the best platforms and there is so much refinement over the years. The range of compatible chips is just massive, hard to beat the price value here.

Good all round board if using a radiator at the top of your case make sure you have enough room as the heat sink is pretty high at the top of the board.

Fast and efficient board, works well and fits well in my case. Would recommend for 7 series CPUs.

Good mid tier am4 motherboard. BIOS flash button is very useful.

Great product. Had to flash the bios, but this was super easy with the flash button. Very impressed with the features. Delivery was over a week late, but that was due to Royal Mail. CCL dispatched the item shortly after I placed the order. Would definitely use again in the future.

Makes a very clean install,having 2 M.2 Slots is very handy.

Upgraded to this motherboard from an Asus X470 Prime Pro and has allowed me to run higher, more stable ram speeds. Only negative is MSI RGB lighting app - lots of conflicts with ICUE etc.

Msi is a dreadful company, board came with small components broken off in the mobo bag, called msi and they told me they cant help me as I already have the item.

The b550 tomahawk is a very good option if you're looking to the mid-high range of b550 motherboards. With this motherboard you're not limited at all when it comes to VRM performance meaning the new zen 3 CPU's all the way up to the top CPU can work well. Overall, if you find it at a reasonable price, it's a great product.

I chose this motherboard to pair with an AMD R5 3600XT, an RX5600XT and 16Gb 3200Mhz memory. Really happy with the motherboard as I am not fussed by RGB so have switched it off. UEFI bios was easy enough to turn on XMP for the RAM and the EZ Debug was useful when I couldn't get the machine to boot initially. Also happy that it gives me a small bit of future proofing if I wanted to put a 5000 series CPU in it at a later date.

After somewhat stubbornly sitting on my trusty i7 920/X58 setup for many years I decided to finally upgrade to something a lot more modern. I'd already decided to go Ryzen with the 3700X but struggled to pick out a motherboard I wanted, I finally decided on the MAG B550 TOMAHAWK and I'm really glad I did, a really great balance of performance and features. I love the clean and well laid out look of the board which isn't too fussy. Setup was easy, I paired the 3700X with some TeamGroup 3600Mhz Cl16 RAM and a Kingston A2000 1TB M2 NVMe drive, the RAM was detected and setup simply with a single click of the A-XMP profile button in MSI's excellent Click 5 BIOS (EZ Mode of course). The Kingston drive was detected fine too, on restart just pressed F11 and selected the USB stick with fresh Windows image and I was away. For my first new build in years I couldn't be happier, Windows boots instantly, dual LAN, both 1GB and 2.5GB, some RGB options to play around with a tons of fan control options too, can't go wrong. My only real issue was that product registration requires an actual photo of the barcode on the motherboard too (the 24pin power connector), I missed this and had already put the system together, but anyway got that sorted and claimed a free copy of Assassin's Creed Valhalla courtesy of MSI too, thanks very much! Overall an excellent motherboard, highly recommend. And as always great service from CCL.

This board is a vast improvement on its earlier counterpart, this product has a more dense feel in weight over its 450 counterpart, which gives of the look and feel of quality not to mention the access to the 2 nvme m.2 slots with heat guard is a nice added touch, apart from a few various upgrades this board will help future proof if you indeed decide to upgrade either a new CPU or GPU, a simple bios update for any future CPU, or simply plug and play with any new graphics card with access to pcie gen 4 bandwith

I fits nicely with the Bequiet dark rock 4 pro, and my black/grey ram. Seems very well built and some weight in it, plenty of connections and features that are listed in the specs page. Great motherboad with all the features I need and still plenty of room for future upgrades. Bought along with a Ryzen 3600 and RTX 3070 and I'm sure this is gonna last me well into the future.

This board is at the premium end of the B550 chipset, for a detailed technical review you are better off googling. If there's a real weakness it's a lack of USB ports, but the build quality and ease of use is as advertised. In particular the list of natively supported hardware is long meaning the amount of setup faff is minimal. In my case it was all plug and play, booting first time. One nice feature is the spacing between the CPU mount and the slots for your first pair of RAM. I was able to mount my Noctua NH14 in the best orientation (leaning out over the RAM) and could still remove my RAM if I wanted without disturbing the cooler beyond unclipping the outer fan. One odd duff detail is that the 1st lot of RAM goes in slot 2 (or B I forget) and the SATA cable array goes something like 3,4,1,2,5,6 so read the manual as you build. I think there may now be some slightly better value for money boards at this tier but overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Motherboard was easy to fit and came complete with Sata cables,cable ties and screws for fitting M.2, only hitch was that the Bios had to be updated to support the AMD Ryzen CPU that was installed which was done with no problems and after that - all was working well.A great piece of kit for the price that I paid and very pleased with my purchase

Very easy to install, great power delivery and thermal solutions. I buy MSI products because they are built like tanks. I have never had a product fail on me that was made by them. I originally considered going for the cheaper gigabyte elite however this one is a higher quality motherboard and is more than enough for any future upgrades you plan to do. The only con i can think of is the lack of usb ports on the back and perhaps the price could be a little lower, but thats probably the case with the entire b550 line up. all in all im very happy about my purchase

Really pleased with it, great temps, built in IO shield and plenty of high end features. 2 x NIC's were great for me as was the number of fan headers. Quality piece of kit. BIOS is easy to navigate and flashback feature is very useful.

I love this mobo! Handles everything I've chucked at it nicely layed out. The bios was easy to use and the rbg can be turned off

Good value motherboard. I find that the only down side is the lack of wifi and bluetooth but they have usb dongles that can provide all that so not a big impact. Delivery was within stated time even when the item was bought as a preorder.
