Useless software package thats impossible to configure or even download without watching extensive you tube vids. No improvement over the seagate NAS I bought 10 years ago & only bought this cos the seagate stopped working.

No doubting the build quality, but as a home user reasonably competent with IT, I am really struggling to make this work as a Media Server. Set up assistance from User Manuals for both the Hardware and software is very sketchy. Troubleshooting help is almost non-existent. This device really needs setting up by a competent professional. It appears that you have to comply with a complicated web of settings and there is no step by step guide to achieving this.

impressed with this the operating system is basic and easy to navigate it has been my first time setting one of these up & it was all quite simple any misshaps were mine which it was easy to recover from synologys online help walking through the setup really is great .....the service from ccl was great also

When I bought this Synology DS220j, I never thought it was that good!! I glad I have one!! Very good!! I recommend it! The seller is very reliable, efficient and trustworthy!! Excellent product, excellent seller CCL computers!!

This item was very easy to set up. Simple instructions to follow, easy to install hard drives. Took a little while to figure out the desktop app on my Mac. Works perfectly with Cambridge Audio CXN v2... straight out of the box on virgin network.
