Questions and Answers

Do you have you a question about the Intel Core i5-10600K 4.1GHz Hexa Core Unlocked Processor for Socket 1200 with 6 Cores, 12 Threads, 125W TDP, 12MB Cache, 4.3GHz Turbo, Intel UHD Graphics 630, No Cooler?

Q: In layman's terms, what are the differences between these?: Intel Core i5 10600 Intel Core i5 10600K Intel Core i5 10600KF
Answer by Website User on 31st August 2021
The i5-10600KF does not have integrated graphics, whereas the other two do (meaning they do not require a dedicated graphics card to run, unlike the 10600KF). There is little difference between the 10600 and the 10600K, except that the 10600K has a higher clock speed and is therefore faster, better and more expensive (unless I'm mistaken).

I was flippin and turning about going AMD or 11th Gen for the PCI4.0 support but honestly do your homework and see if 4.0 is really worth it and what it actually translates to in terms of gaming performance because id wager the reason your here is because your building a gaming rig. For me the savings outweighed the potential performance gains and this chip is currently bang for buck the best option, they are available which some CPUs aren't and the performance is brilliant. If you plan to OC this chip you will really get some decent Price to Performance from this chip.

Performance seems very good so far, but I'm not sure about the value for money vs the new ryzen chips.
