When it comes to building a b-e-a-utiful gaming system you must at least consider using the Corsair Crystal 570X case. With it’s all tempered glass exterior and RGB fans it’s one of the most stylish cases we’ve seen from Corsair.
Featuring an ASUS ROG STRIX Z270F motherboard, Intel Core i7-7700K processor, G.Skill TridentZ RGB desktop memory, 2x EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 ACX 3.0 in SLI and the trusty Corsair Hydro H100i v2 All-in-One Liquid CPU cooler. Powering the build is a Corsair RM1000X 1000W 80+ Gold power supply with 100% all Japanese capacitors, zero RPM fan mode for silent operation and a 10 year warranty. The two EVGA GeForce GTX 1080s are bridged using the official NVIDIA GTX High-Bandwidth (HB) SLI bridge. As always this system is excellently cable managed by our CCL build team which is even more important in this case given the all tempered glass exterior.
This gaming system uses a combination of a 500GB Samsung EVO 960 PRO M.2 and a 1TB Seagate 3.5” 7200RPM mechanical drive for storage. Samsung and Seagate are proving a popular choice of storage combination given their excellent performance and reliability.
As mentioned at the beginning this custom PC build uses the Corsair Crystal 570X chassis, a truly beautiful thing to look at. Providing excellent air flow and decent sound levels when paired with Corsair SP120 case fans.
