CS:GO 2 has arguably the biggest shoes to fill of any multiplayer first person shooter ever released, as despite its humble beginnings as a Half-Life mod, Counter-Strike is the Godfather of esports shooters and one of the most successful, longest running multiplayer games of all time. Fortunately, we don't think the apple is going to fall far from the tree, as it's anticipated Counter-Strike 2 will be bringing CS:GO into the Source 2 engine, rather than being a new game in its own right (that's right, your skin collection should be safe).
We don't have Counter-Strike's system requirements yet, but while we don't anticipate it being a heavyweight spec (as Valve won't want to lose players from the existing base) it'd be reasonable to expect it to line up similarly to other titles using the source engine, and other, more recently released esports titles. Caveats in place, here are our recommended Gaming PCs for Counter-Strike Global Offensive 2.

From what we know, CS:GO 2 is set to modernise Counter-Strike Global Offensive with an upgrade to the Source 2 engine - it's anticipated this will not be a 'new' game so to speak, as the CS:GO marketplace economy is likely to transition as-is with the game. It's reasonable to expect some new maps and a general overhaul and audit of the much loved title to help bring it forwards so it can continue to compete with the latest esports FPS titles.
