The newly available 6 GHz frequency band is dedicated purely to WiFi 6E devices. This means that older WiFi devices can’t interfere with 6E signals at all, enabling faster and more reliable connections for your 6E devices.

Massive Capacity

WiFi 6E has up to seven additional high-speed 160 MHz channels*, enabling multi-gigabit speeds with stable and consistent connections. It dramatically increases network capacity while reducing congestion, delivering higher performance for every WiFi 6E device.

*Subject to regulatory limitations, and co-existence with 5GHz WiFi. Number of channels may be less than 7. If no 6 GHz SSID is displayed, please check whether your OS and client device are fully licensed to support the newly released 6 GHz band. You can check with your OS and client device provider for the WiFi 6E driver release schedule.

Connect Instantly

As the new 6 GHz band is exclusively reserved for WiFi 6E devices, there’s no need for Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS), which prevents interference with things like air traffic control radar systems. This means that devices can connect quicker without the delays imposed by DFS.

One-Tap Safe Browsing

The internet can contain inappropriate content, intrusive ads or other dangers and safety risks. ASUS Safe Browsing helps block undesirable content in one tap -- no extra apps required. Its lightweight DNS-based filtering* won’t affect router performance. It can even filter explicit content from search engine results to protect your kids online.

*By using Safe Browsing, you acknowledge and agree that the standard for blocked and filtered content is established by a third-party DNS provider.

Equipped with a 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port, the ASUS RT-AXE7800 also features both WAN and LAN aggregation*, providing you with more options when assembling your network**. This flexibility lets you deliver massive bandwidth to your wired devices and takes advantage of ultra-high-speed internet connections in many scenarios***.

*To use the Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) function, devices must support the IEEE 802.3ad protocol. WAN and LAN aggregation also leverage the same 1G WAN/LAN port and cannot be enabled at the same time.
