Clearance products and graded items are always very popular at CCL. Our grading system ensures you get a fantastic bargain, and can trust your components and parts are in full working order, and have been tested to ensure you have peace of mind when you purchase.
What are Graded products?
All components which have been returned are thoroughly assessed and tested before being ‘graded’. The grading system is as follows:
A Grade
Components with this grade are new and unused, although the box may have been unsealed and opened. usually, these are products that have been ordered in error by a customer, and returned complete. All A Grade components are complete, working and have been fully tested. Any warranty will be clearly stated in the product listing.

B Grade
Components with this grade are in good condition, but may show light signs of use and/or have been repackaged. Quite often these are items we have used for in-house photography, or where a customer has ordered in error. Their pricing reflects this condition. All B Grade components are complete, working and have been fully tested, and any warranty will be clearly stated in the product detail.

C Grade
Components with this grade may have missing accessories or show signs of cosmetic wear. Check each product description for specific details. Usually these are items we have used for in-house photography, testing or review, or where a customer has ordered in error. All C Grade components are working and have been fully tested, and any warranty will be clearly stated in the product detail.

D Grade
Components with this grade may have missing accessories, be non-functional or have significant damage. Check each product description for specific details. Most D Grade components are sold without warranty, and standard consumer rights are unaffected.

Although every effort has been made to ensure that the returned items are supplied with their original accessories, manuals and other items, some packages may not be 100% complete, but we are confident you will receive the essentials.
If we are aware of a defect that might deter from the function of the component, we will mention it!
What are Clearance products?

Sometimes, manufacturers also ship products with missing accessories or they do not meet the requirements of the end user, and are returned to our specialist IT team. Our team checks and tests the returned item, and will grade the product as a clearance item accordingly.
Our clearance items also feature components which are either end of line, and have been discontinued by the manufacturer. Warranties are often still intact, and you can find an incredible bargain in EOL or discontinued products, where manufacturers have refreshed a SKU. For example, a motherboard may include USB 3.0 and have different styling to a newer version, and the older product will be discontinued in favour of USB 3.1 and some new cosmetic detailing! In instances like this, we are able to offer significant savings on a brand new product, where the differences are barely noticeable to the customer.

What are Open Box items?
We class open box items as any product that has been received by a customer, and where packaging has been opened. Open box items are still fully checked, tested and passed as fully-working by our specialist team, so there is an opportunity to get a genuine bargain with open box products.
Limited Warranties
All stock that has been graded as a clearance item will also be supplied with a limited warranty (Grades A - C). Grade D items do not have warranties, but your statutory rights are unaffected.
Some returned components may have some slight defects. Where they do, you can be assured these are minor, and are not regarded as faulty by the manufacturer.

All products offered by CCL are supplied with a warranty or can be returned if they do not match the description or detail when purchased. Your standard 14 day consumer cancellation rights apply.
