Q: Hi I've got a Aerocool QS-101 M-ATX Case with a 400w Micro PSU.Do you know if I could replace it with the Arctic blue 850w power supply.I want to install a sapphire hd7970 oc graphics card and I think I need more power.Thankyou
Answer by Website User on 19th June 2014
I don't believe you could fit a 7970 into that case as it only takes low profile expansion cards. If it has a micro power supply an ATX unit like this one would be too large. -Danlevan

Q: Its this PSU able to power a gtx 660 sli? Have one card already and thinking of getting another and would ideally not have to upgrade PSU.
Answer by Matthew on 1st May 2014
Unfortunately that power supply is poor and would not likely provide enough power on its 12V rails to support two 660s in SLI. We'd recommend upgrading to a good quality power supply, such as PSU0291, PSU0395, PSU0456 or PSU0617. -MR

Q: Hi would this be ok with a 1GB Radeon HD 7770 card and MSI H61M-p31 motherboard
Answer by CCL on 10th July 2013
This Power Supply would be fine with that Graphics Card & Motherboard, although it wouldn't require so much wattage, unless you were thinking of overclocking/crossfiring the graphics, around 650w would be ample for that setup with mild overclocking. - RH

Q: does this power supply have a long cable for my case which has bottom fitting will it stretch up to the motherboard if not could you recommend one
Answer by CCL on 27th June 2013
I don't have any cable length figures for this power supply so could not guarantee it would be able to reach. Higher end supplies like Corsair, OCZ or Antec are more likely to have longer cables, alternatively we do have extension cables such as CAB1502. -Danlevan

Great item exactly what I needed

This is an excellent PSU which I needed for my new PC upgrade; it met all my criteria for the different output voltage ratings and currents. I was also impressed with its standard output connectors/plugs which helped connect all my peripherals with the SATA interface and there were enough to satisfy all my devices. I am also pleased with the length of these cables. I would definitely buy the same product again, and would recommend it to others with similar requirements. Price was above similar products in its category, but those didnt have the combination of longer cables and as many SATA connectors as this unit. Hence, the price premium is justified, in my case.

Delivers the power you need with all the cables you could need. The problem with this PSU is that it's not durable at all! 24 pin seeminy doesn't work anymore, slight movements make the PC lose power and it just turns of my pc randomly. Do not recommend.
