If you consider yourself to be an average PC user, then this is simply a great CPU to have. Pair it with a cheap MB and 8GB ram, and you have an upgrade more than capable of general PC tasks.
I've tested it with Windows 10 and Linux, and find web surfing, open office tasks, and youtube to run very well. Stress testing, I got a peak full system power draw of 42 watts (not including monitor), so if energy efficiency is your thing, it covers that.
The only thing I would say, is the supplied fan is a little whiny, so consider buying the AMD SPIRE fan, unfortunately CCL don't appear to sell them (GET A GRIP GUYS), but they are available from competitors for about 6-8 delivered. If you chose then option, you will find it is MUCH quieter. Have a word with CCL, they may have a cheap alternative, but DON'T pay more than 5 for it unless you seriously hate noise.
Buy with confidence and enjoy this great little chip.
Oh check you MB website first, make sure you have the CORRECT BIOS, not necessarily the latest one (most new ones don't support this chip) Mine is using a BIOS from over a year ago (5 revisions old).
