My son has an Lenovo desktop that is from 2013 and he uses it mainly for playing Minecraft (Java edition) on Windows 10. He was getting a very unsteady 60 FPS in Minecraft, that would momentarially shoot up to 110 FPS, or down to 20 FPS. Needless to say the GPU on the OEM motherboard was not getting the job done. If I was to put in a dedicated GPU it could not be one of those fancy 3-fan, 300-watt, 25cm cards either -- I only had room for a Low Profile (half-height), PCIe-powered 75-watt-max card (no extra power leads!).
With advice from technicians at CCLOnline, I bought this card, and installation was easy. I downloaded the latest driver and software from the ASUS website. Now my son gets a reliable 200 FPS on Minecraft, and heat has not been any problem.
