Bought to replace hard drive which had "died" on a 15 year old PC (32bit Pentium4 processor). Have partitioned the drive (several Ext4 & NTFS partitions) and enabled dual boot, Linux & WindowsXP (Windows is only to use with some original purchased software). No problems at all - drive is working quietly and well - brilliant new life to old PC!)

Product is as described and works very well however can sometimes be quite loud, every so often it may also make some odd noises. Otherwise very good and never skips a beat.

Good value and there when I wanted it

Not much to say other than it's 2 TB of spinning rust. I went for a 5400 version to minimise sound/vibration as it's paired with a NVMe SSD with AMD's StoreMI technology so gives plenty of space for games storage and the NVMe brings the speed. SSDs are getting cheaper all the time, so while value-for-money remains good at the moment, it's only a matter of time before the gap is close enough to go all SSD.

good hard drives. As to how long they will last, who knows. Only had them a few weeks so time will tell.
