Migrated back to Intel after 3 years of AMD Ryzen 7 2700X. Massive improvement both in games and daily stuff.

last month

A powerful beast, but needs a cooler to keep it cool, I'm using a Noctua NH-D15S cooler which I've found to be great. worth it for gaming and will last you a fair few years.

Since i jumped from an I5 4590S which was only a four core processor, this just walks all over it, stable, fast, reliable..

Very good CPU, everything loads within seconds, if not instantly. Be sure to check if you need the extra cores, as I do regret spending the additional 100 on this i7 over the i5 12600k for cores that I don't need. Can't fault the CPU though.

Got this during Christmas discount period. Great processor. Fast delivery from CCL.

Absolutely amazing CPU. It is pretty much tied with the 12900k for the best current-gen performance in gaming and completely beats out Zen3 CPUs of the same price range (eg. 5900x). One thing to mention is that in terms of value for money for pure gaming, others might consider a 12600k. You also need quite a beefy cooler to run CPU intensive tasks that include AVX2 instructions; my Noctua NH-D15S barely keeps up at some points.
