The be quiet! Dark Rock 4 utilises a Silent Wings 135mm PWM fan to push air through the heatsink. Featuring a fluid-dynamic bearing for reliability, six-pole motor for reduced vibration, and nine fan blades for optimised airflow, the heatsink also uses a decoupled fan mounting and vibration-isolating elements to reduce noise even further.

The be quiet! Dark Rock 4 is a single tower heatsink design capable of achieving excellent heat dissipation despite its compact form. You can even add a second fan on the other side for improved air flow and even better cooling.

Q: Can I connect the 4 pin fan to a Gigabyte X58-USB3 motherboard? The CPU-FAN socket is only 3 pin.

From what I can tell, that motherboard has a 4-pin PWM header as the CPU fan header. Even if you only have a 3-pin header, the fan will simply function in DC mode (i.e. you lose the PWM control).

This cooler does what it says on the box. I have it working on an i9 9900 and the temps are really low, around 29c for light work and up to 55c for AAA gaming. Great design and build. CCL computers are also a great shop with very quick postage.

Excellent cooler, works perfectly. Compared to stock AMD A4 Wraith Stealth cooler that came with the 5600X, temps are generally ~10 degrees cooler with the Dark Rock 4. One thing to note though, if all 4 of your RAM slots are full, it will be a bit of a tight squeeze to fit the fan on the front of the heatsink; I had to fit it to the rear of the heatsink to pull air through, as it wouldn't fit due to me using all 4 RAM slots on my motherboard. Other than that, excellent cooler.

Got it at 10% off which makes it even more of a bargain. Solid quality product. A little tricky to get the fan hooks on but once on no issues. Keeps the CPU cool and with v little noise. Also has the option to add another fan if the CPU is over clocked.

Used to cool an i7 8700k which was running 80oC+ under load with stock cooler. With the bequiet fitted my cpu temps dropped to room temp at idle and 40-50oC while under load. Cant recommend enough if you need to cool.

Excellent cooler, I have an R5 1600 with an overclock @3.9ghz running @ 1.38 v, keeps temps cool at around 62c under stress test and also very quiet. Highly recommended.
