Good CPU in the Ryzen 5 family. I've been using this without any issues at an overclock of 4.3 GHz.

I see alot of pc gamers running this CPU so thought I'd do the same. Very pleased with the decision

A much needed upgrade for my system, used to run an i5 4400k and It couldnt handle new release games. after the switch to the 5600x I can run anything I want. I would recommend if you need to update an older system and want something that will stay relivent a bit longer than a 3600 or 3600x

Great product. The included cooler is not so good, it makes a slight humming noise that can get a little annoying but considering it is included with the CPU, it's perfectly acceptable.

very pleased indeed , note to buyer dont panic when u see higher temps that previous gen cpu this is normal ie.. idleis around 30 .full load can reach 70c for me although ive discovered this isnt that hot, max temp is supposedly 95c

Only issue seemed to be one of the screws wouldn't bite when screwing fan to motherboard. Doesn't seem to have caused a major problem

One of the best CPU's of the modern PC world, fast and quiet, able to handle the most mundane or demanding of activities with ease. When paired with components of equal quality makes a great machine fit to meet the challenges of years to come. Very pleased.

Good processor for gaming.

A great upgrade for me, although not a fair comparison, going from an i5 4690k with an ssd drive to this + an M.2 drive, the speed difference and workload capability of this combo is fantastic.

Best value/price ratio on the market for high end gaming pc. With AIO watercooling i barely go above 60c and works just fine for any game. Honestly most games are GPU limited so i never have more than 50% usage.

this is the perfect cpu for people who want the highest fps in games at a good price point. I don't edit or render much so i don't need more than 6 cores. in overwatch i get 400 fps and it's great (3070 gpu)

CCL on a par or better with other suppliers for price, and customer service as always go out of their way to make it a smooth process even when you mess them around like I did :) The CPU? 6 cores, twelve threads, low power now sitting nicely in a Fractal 304 chassis at the side of my desk working exactly as expected. Just like my own personal mini fridge :D

Whats got 6 cores, a low TDP and an included fan that "does the job"? This processor. It's great, but given the current scalper led market it's also waaaaay over priced. I bought at 30+ over the MSRP. An MSRP by the way that still makes this a slightly expensive value proposition v.s. the 5800X.

Great processor with amazing bench test scores. I'm Running with 3600mhz Ram which apparently is the sweet spot for this CPU. Motherboard is a MSI Tomahawk X570 which again at this CPU price point is the best choice. I did loads and loads of research before settling for this set up and I'm so glad I did.

Bought ryzen 5600x together with Gigabyte B550 AORUS Elite v2 everything works great together!

After watching and reading reviews I decided that this would be the best choice to last for a while with the new architecture from AMD. The cpu does what I want exceptionally well, I do a lot of CAD work as well as play games and this gave the best of both worlds. The prices on CCL were very competitive and were some of the cheapest around for this cpu and had stock. I look forward to properly testing the cpu and seeing what is capable of but so far is working well.

The 5600x seem able to access motherboard resources more efficiently - Running a full 4 pass memtest86 V9.0 on a 3800x indicates a speed of 19179 MB/s and takes 6 hours 16 mins to complete. The 5600x indicates a speed of 48521 MB/s and takes 4 hours and 19mins to complete with everything else the same (Aorus X570 Pro / Ballistix 32 GB DDR4 3600).

Brilliant up to date processor for desktop and gaming. It's day and night compared to what I was experiencing with my i5 6600k. If you are still in quad-core now is the time to change.

Fast processor at great price

I bought this as I'm rebuilding a gaming rig that's got a bit long in the tooth. I'm using it with an MSI X570 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard and they seem to work well together. It's got plenty of power for my gaming needs - I really don't need any more cores and it's single core speed is better than previous Ryzen's apparently. This is the first non Intel platform I've built as Intel CPU's were always far superior for gaming but not any longer it seems. I'm not even bothering to overclock as it's boost speed is great without it. My systems are watercooled but even so this processor seems to run nice and cool. My maximum temperatures recorded whilst gaming never really exceed 50 degrees which is very low. Overall this seems to have the ideal balance of cores, speed and price for a top level gaming rig and I highly recomend it. If only I could find an RTX 3080 to pair it with......

This is a great CPU and plays all modern games on high settings when paired with a good graphics card. The price was a bit inflated due to supply shortages in December.

Coming from an i5-6500, the 5600x is blazingly fast. Complex Boolean operations with millions of vertexes in Blender are significantly quicker, even using the same 2133mhz RAM. One thing to note is that the 5600x runs much hotter than I was expecting. My i5 idled at 30C and maxed out at 65C under load. The 5600x idles at around 40C and maxes out at around 90C with the stock cooler. At first I thought I'd installed the stock heatsink and fan incorrectly, but according to AMD, these temperatures are normal and nothing to be concerned about. I do see some thermal throttling when under sustained load (from 4.3Gghz down to 4.19). That is only when fully loading all cores with combined CPU+GPU rendering, which is a heavier load than I'd expect when gaming.

When comparing between 3700x and this product the 5600x won on all things gaming. If i had r a workstation CPU the 3700x would be better. Good price a little over RRP but stocks are low and not over priced

Got the Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX ITX Motherboard and AMD Ryzen 5 5600X for gaming build - This processor is an amazingly fast piece of kit and the power draw is so low! Makes my old i7-4790K feel slow + hot! Doing the benchmarks has seen an immediate increase in FPS for some of my games. Very happy.

Great cpu, but be careful on prices...Few days after I ordered, it dropped by 20, and the motherboard I ordered dropped 18...So I've lost 38 because I ordered a few days earlier...The cpu itself it's great, and would benefit of a lower price, and without the cooler that comes with, I doubt people would use it anyway... A bit steep on price for a 6 core cpu, but, hopefully in the next few months the price will come down to under 300, and will worth it more :)

Wow, I've got this baby running on stock cooler & actually doing some heavily threaded work & although it looks like there appears to be some reduction in boost due to temps (not the 95 throttle, but I've read over ~ 65 or 68 the boost is reduced) it's crunching through the workload 6 times faster than it's replacement i5-4570 ...chip + 4 * the ram to be more accurrate. All the reviews I read tended to be gaming focused, if you're looking to use the threads too, then I'd recommend a descent cooler. My initial guestimate is it will run another 15% or so faster if kept under the boost limit. Excellent chip.

Recent purchase, have been surprised by performance gain over 3600, very stable, not overclocked by much yet but very pleased with purchase.
