How do I start my computer in safe mode?

You can start Windows in safe mode by tapping the F8 key when you first power the machine on until you are prompted with the option to start in safe mode.

Note: If when tapping the F8 key you get asked to select a device to boot from, simply press the escape key and then continue tapping F8
