Q: I have recently purchased from CCL a Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D2V mobo bundle with intention of upgrading my ageing Dell Dimension PC - without proerply checking the internals of the PC! Althoiugh I could possibly 'make' the mob fit the PSU is short on SATA power so I have come to the conclusion I need to get a new case. Will this case accept the Gigabyte mobo and does the psu have at least 3 SATA power connections for and SSD, HDD and SATA DVD. Thanks
Answer by CCL on 23rd October 2012
The motherboard is within the dimensions that this case supports, but the power supply only has a single SATA connection. You can convert Molex plugs to SATA however, see our code HDD9001. -Danlevan

Q: I have no spdif on my MB (Asrock G31). Is there any other way of getting sound from the in built speakers?
Answer by CCL on 14th May 2012
The only way to do this would be with a converter which converts spdif to the interface you have on your board, failing that it would be installing a dedicated sound card.

Q: Hi, would a Micro ATX Gigabyte M68MT-S2P motherboard fit in this case along side an AMD Bulldozer FX-4100 and GeForce 520 low profile grapic card? If so which DVD writer should I go for with it sitting vertically, will a standard Samsung SH-S223C fit? Also other parts im planning on are Alpine 700w PSU to replace the 300w with the case, and a WD 500gb SATAiii HDD. Kind regards
Answer by CCL on 20th April 2012
Any standard 5.25inch optical drive will fit in this case, as will the rest of your components. It does take a non standard power supply however, so you would need to check the dimensions of this to ensure the replacement will fit. -Danlevan

Q: will asus am3 m4a87td/usb3 fit in this case along with Sapphire HD5770 vapor graphics card. and will 300 watt is enough to tackle above said along with 8gb RAm, amd phenom II x6 1055t 2.8GHz 9MB, samsung dvd writer, 2TB HDD, keyboard mouse. thanks
Answer by CCL on 29th February 2012
This case would be too small for your motherboard, you need to be looking at cases that support ATX form factor. The 300W power supply would not be sufficient as you should be looking to upgrade to 450W power supply at a minimum.

Q: Can anybody help with the internal speakers, Case has AC97 and HD Audio, Cant seem to get them to work. So far have tried both AC97 and HD audio (Changing relevant settings in BIOS) At the moment HD Audio is connected to the front panel audio (10pin AAFP) so that the front headphones and Mic work. Someone mentioned about the SPIDIF OUT port which on my motherboard is a 4Pin port but i have no cable from the case to attched to this. Any help would be great, motherboard is Asus-P8H61-M-LE- (MBD0116)

Q: Hi i have just bought this case and i have a BIOSTAR TA770E3 Motherboard. the Motherboard does not fit inside the case it is to big. But when i bought the case the staff told me it will fit inside the case so i guess they were wrong. if not how do i install it ? thanks
Answer by CCL on 29th December 2011
The information given to us by the manufacturer indicated that this case would take a full ATX size motherboard, such as the one you have. However, I have researched this case, and it would appear that that is not the case, and the largest it will take is Micro ATX, so unfortunately your motherboard will not be able to go into this case. I would recommend contacting our Returns department on returns@cclonline.com or 01274 471205 to arrange returning this case for a refund or exchange. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
