In a nutshell... well built and great spec for the price.
Brightness and picture quality from this IPS panel is excellent. This isn't a pro/colour calibrated monitor for professional graphics editing, nor is it trying to be. But it's not far off.
After three months I have to say I've been mightily impressed by what you get for you money. It sports three display inputs - 2x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort and I use the Picture-By-Picture feature for a split-screen experience from separate physical inputs (niche use-case).
The picture-by-picture (PbP) was a bit of a faff to set up, but that was probably the device I was hooking up to it rather than the monitor itself. One point to note - I could only get PbP working with 1 Display-Port and 1 HDMI port (not dual HDMI inputs). And for those of you asking, this is displaying two inputs at the same time (50% screen split), NOT displaying one input at a time (that works flawlessly).
The build quality seems solid and the height adjustable stand is good. The stand mounting does let you rotate the monitor, which is useful for getting to the inputs, but being ultra-wide screen you can't fully rotate before hitting the desk. The instructions clearly say 'portrait' mode is not supported while mounted on the stand which is to be expected with ultra-wide screens.
Is it a good monitor? Absolutely. Does it get the job done and well? Definitely. All in all an excellent monitor, no-nonsense, solidly built and extremely good value for money - I actually prefer it in everyday use to my 1k+ 32" pro 4K monitor that I use for photo editing!
