Q: Is this suitable for HP/Compaq EliteBook 8470p? if yes, can I have two of this to get a 16 GB RAM for my laptop?
Answer by Dan on 27th June 2016
I believe that model requires 1.35V memory, so RAM1586 would be a better choice. -Danlevan

Typically the 1.3 V is used for Mac. Right? I am looking at the RAM modules for the Windows machine from HP as mentioned in the original question. Also the Kingston site recommends the 1.5V for the Elitebook 8470P

Most Macs use 1.35V memory, but as long as the model that you're planning to fit it into can take 1.5V then it should be fine. -Danlevan
