Combining a massive six heatpipe dual radiator design with an exquisite NF-P14/NF-P12 dual fan configuration, the NH-D14 is built for ultimate quiet cooling performance. Topped off with a tube of Noctua's award-winning NT-H1 thermal compound as well as the new SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system, the NH-D14 is an elite choice for the highest demands in premium quality quiet cooling.

Six heatpipe dual radiator design
Providing more surface area, better heat-distribution and superior airflow efficiency than conventional tower style heatsinks, the NH-D14s six heatpipe dual radiator design was developed to provide ultimate quiet cooling performance in dual fan mode.

Dual NF-P14/NF-P12 fan setup
The NH-D14 sports a premium quality dual fan setup consisting of Noctua's award-winning NF-P12 (120mm) and NF-P14 (140mm) fans, both of which feature Vortex-Control Notches, SCD technology and SSO-Bearings in order to achieve a perfect balance of performance and quietness.

Asymmetrical design for high compatibility
An asymmetrical design that gives more clearance towards the RAM slots ensures good compatibility despite of the coolers size. The NF-P12 fan can be moved upwards or left off in order to further improve compatibility.

Excellent component cooling
Hanging out at the bottom of the fin-stacks, the NF-P14 fan doesn't only contribute to the NH-D14s superb CPU cooling capabilities but also provides massive airflow over surrounding motherboard components and heatsinks, thus ensuring excellent component cooling performance.

Q: I was just wondering what RAM I could use with this cooler as i chose the Corsair Vengeance LED 16GB 3000MHz DDR4, could you suggest a different type of RAM that would be compatible? I'll be using the z270 xp sli and an NZXT s340 case too... So just wondering if all the other parts would have compatibility with the RAM and cooler also, thanks, Daniel Nicholson

The RAM would be compatible if you moved the fan on the cooler upwards - however this would then make the cooler incompatible with the S340 case, as the cooler is 160mm high by default and the case accepts coolers up to 161mm in height. We'd recommend choosing low-profile RAM such as the Corsair Vengeance LPX.

Yes, it should be fine in all of these, it may however overhang the first two memory slots so you would need to check that your memory is low profile to fit under it. -Danlevan

Q: Will this fan fit a 1150 socket? Also, will it fit into a Thermaltake Commander MS/I Snow Edition case? The product dimensions seem to vary massively and it seems I have approx 170mm where this could fit into, but I'm not 100% sure and this is the biggest concern I have with purchasing this product.

We have this cooler listed as 160mm tall, and this should fit into that case just fine. Socket 1150 has the same bracket spacing as 1155 so this will be compatible. -Danlevan

Yes, this cooler supports Socket 1156 which has exactly the same cooler fitting placements as Socket 1155. It will fit just fine in your case, although if your RAM has large heatsinks on them they may need to be removed from the sticks. -MR

While this cooler doesn't state compatibility with AM3+ this is physically the same as AM3, and the cooler is powerful enough to cool that processor. -Danlevan

That would really depend on the RAM in use. If you're using something like the Corsair or Kingston low profile RAM you'll be fine, anything larger however you will get clearance issues. You shouldn't have any problems with an Antec 1200 case though. -Danlevan

This cooler requires a fair amount of room around the CPU and Memory. Unfortunately, without speaking with Foxconn, I cannot recommend this cooler.

It's massive, like Himalayas massive! It just barely fit inside my fractal design case but it does keep my i5 very cool so I'm more than happy with it, but next time I'll check the dimensions before buying a cooler :-)
