TUF GAMING K7

Battlefield domination beckons with the light-speed actuation of TUF Gaming K7's Optical-Mech switches. Choose linear or tactile to match your play style, and exploit the compact design to stay in command. K7 is water and dust resistant, topped with aircraft-grade aluminum, comes with a detachable wrist rest, and has per-key Aura Sync illumination – for a fast and fun way to light up your gaming world.

TUF Optical-Mech Switches

Each TUF Optical-Mech switch casts a beam of infrared light. Pressing a key links the beam for near-instant actuation. This unique design eliminates the 5ms debounce delay intrinsic to traditional metal contacts, slashing total actuation time to just 0.2ms – so it's quicker than the blink of an eye!

IP56 Water & Dust Resistance

TUF Gaming K7 delivers industry-leading IP56 water and dust resistance, while our Optical-Mech switches are rated for up to 100-million clicks – or twice the lifespan of traditional mechanical switches. A top plate machined from aircraft-grade aluminum provides stylish exterior strength, and we've even nano-coated the PCB to prevent internal metal parts oxidizing.

Compact Design

TUF Gaming K7's compact, frameless form lets you reach every key easily, so you'll game without distraction. This floating-keycaps design  also makes for swift cleaning, with clear all-round access to brush or blow away dust and crumbs.

Magnetic & Ergonomic Wrist Rest

TUF Gaming K7 comes with an ergonomic wrist rest crafted from thick memory foam and finished with leatherette, for cool comfort that molds naturally to your posture. Strong magnets keep this cushioned pad in place during play, and also enable it to be rapidly detached when you need to change your angle of attack or stow your keyboard in a bag.

Aura Sync

Powered by Aura Sync, the entire color spectrum and a range of dynamic lighting effects are at your command to create a keyboard that's uniquely yours – with an individually-controllable LED under every key. TUF Gaming K7's RGB illumination is also easily synced with the extensive Aura ecosystem for gaming environment that really shines.

Armoury II

Armoury II is an enhanced driver-based software that offers more extensive controls while using less system resources. An intuitive UI lets you easily tune TUF Gaming K7 to suit your gameplay – create profiles, customize colors and lighting effects, map keys, record macros and more. You can even track hardware stats during gameplay for data analysis.

I've never bought an ASUS keyboard before. I've used other brands before and been happy. The ASUS TUF X7 is lighter than other keyboards I've used. Others have had heavy metal inside to weight them down, whilst this is nice using the TUF X7 was a pleasure as moving it around was easier. It wont slip as the rubber feet are solid on my surface ! The RGB is very good, it has a number if modes. My favourite is the sweep of all colours. You can use it without any ASUS apps but ASUS has its own that integrates with other ASUS products like motherboards. One negative would be the keys are noisy, they aren't click'y bit sound like it. This doesn't bother me and I'll buy some "O" rings to soften the noise and increase feedback. Overall I'm happy with this keyboard, it works well with my peripherals. I recommend !

Very happy with this keyboard which I primarily use for gaming playing COD connected to my PS4 and as my daily typing keyboard (PC). Very sturdy build that does not flex at all thanks to a good quality metal used for the frame. The typing is accurate and quick due to a short actuation distance and makes for quick typing and excellent responsiveness when gaming. The loud typing sound I enjoy and is not so loud that it becomes an annoyance. The wrist pad is perfectly comfortable and the magnetic attachment to the frame is great. I would have liked a braided cord and USB pass-through but overall am very happy with the keyboard and would definitely recommend. No problems with CCL, quick delivery considering current logistical restrictions, would shop again.

I purchased this keyboard to use when gaming, mainly playing first person shooters and for everyday use as a typing keyboard. The build quality is excellent; there is no flex in the metal frame and the keys are a premium feeling plastic - it is reassuring to know that the keyboard is IP56 water and dust resistance though I haven't thus far required this feature. Pressing the keys down requires very little force and the travel distance for actuation is very short, this makes movement when gaming and typing very fast and accurate. Other online reviews mention the loud typing sound as a negative, though I enjoy the sound it produces and find that it's not too loud or cheap sounding. The wrist pad is extremely comfortable and the magnetic attachment to the keyboard frame is perfect. The only improvements that I would have liked to see would be a braided cord and a USB pass-through. Overall I am very happy with this keyboard and would recommend it.

An extremely sturdy keyboard with premium features around every corner. It's everything you could ask for in a keyboard and none of it feels lacking or cheap. The rest is comfortable, it's fast responsive and reliable. It's compact but not overly constrained. With the dust and water resistance to top it off, it should last you years.

The good: - Keys are very tactile, and make a very satisfying click noise - Keyboard layout is somehow a little bit better than any of the other keyboards I have and this seems to have translated into better accuracy - Wrist rest is pretty awesome, soft and supportive. - RGB is subtle, and the control software is better than that available with any corsair keyboard I've tried - Key response is INSANELY fast. It really is a discernible difference over a membrane or mecha keyboard. The bad: - Indicator lights are over the d-pad, why !? I'm so used to looking at the top right I can't shake it. - There's a discernible level of 'flash' at the bottom of some of the key caps, and there are some weird smudges on the aluminium faceplate they've used here. This was a new product, wrapped in plastic, so it can only be poor QC. - The branding at the top right of the keyboard where you'd expect the indicator lights to be is fairly obnoxious. Why would I want "we got your back" printed on my keyboard? I'm going to have to find a way to take it off. Overall, relative to the equivalent offering from Razer or Corsair, this is pretty good value. Some dedicated macro keys would have been cool but then this was 50 pounds less, so there's that.
