Synology makes great, stable, products and DSM OS comes as a great feature on this router. It is easy to set up, packed with features and has beautiful design. I have had no issue with 10+ devices running on MU-MIMO at the same time and would definitely recommend the product. The only reason I have given four stars is that it is too early to review and have not used all the functionality, mesh and all other protocols as of yet.

I bought this to create a mesh by linking it with the RT2600AC, and it works well in a fairly large footprint house with thick walls. I use my ethernet backbone to link them together because they are positioned far apart. This works nicely, but it's important to follow the initial setup steps precisely, as this stage requires the two routers to be near each other and talk wirelessly. I also had to update the packages on the RT2600AC before running the installation wizard. After this slight confusion on my part, everything was good, and I now have a single-sign-on wireless network across the whole house. There are still some weak-signal spots, but I know I can easily add MR2200AC to the mesh when I feel like it to boost the power. I also like the Synology web interface, which is simple to use. All-in, I'm very happy.
