This is my first Gigabyte PSU, so was a little cautious as to what this would look like. HAving previously used SuperFlower, Corsair and EVGA, I have certain expectations in terms of noise and life expectancy (The latter of which I will find out as time goes on). For the noise compenent, I am genuinely impressed, the PSU makes next to no noise at all, even the initial startup "Roar" that some have is not present.
Size-wise, it is a standard cube instead of cuboid shape, it fit well into the system and was easy to install. The only 2 gripes I have with is is that 1 - The cables are a high gloss plastic coating and 2. It does not appear to be compatible with 3rd party cabling kits, due to a custom socket shape. Should Gigabyte bring out their own customisable cabling, these two issues would be resolved.
