Its replaced an old hard drive. Its quiet uses less energy, lighter cooler and a little quicker

Good quality product from a brand that I totally trust, I have never been let down or disappointed with any Gigabyte product and this was no exception. Bought as a replacement C & D HDD in an oldish PC. Along with Windows 10 this has totally transformed the pc, it is quick and appears stable. Totally worth the effort, which in truth it was not that difficult.

Perfect replacement for a faulty HDD

Exceptional value of 24, needed for just Windows, Microsoft office, and a few small games, makes the whole system much faster than a HDD. IF YOU WANT A GAMING PC I STRONGLY RECOMMEND ENOUGH SSD FOR ALL YOU GAMES SO I WOULD HAVE GONE FOR 500GB IF I WAS MAKING A GAMING PC.

Bought to use to clone my current SSD as a backup. Worked fine and now sits in a cupboard. My SSD is exactly the same and had no problems with that in the past year or so.

How to turn a relatively slow and cheap eBay PC into a FAST PC! dump the HD and slip in a SSD. I chose this one because I trust the make and the size and price was right for me. It was a straight swap in the machine and Windows reinstalled very quickly. Now the PC boots in around 20 seconds and operates without lag. Its the SSD that makes all the difference, Im well pleased.

Good ssd for general use. Same Phison S11 controller as A400, CS900 etc. Expect 550MB/s read. No DRAM cache so write speeds will slow down after 20GB or so.

An SSD makes a worthwhile (and cheap) upgrade to any computer. Fresh Windows installations take less time. Those endless Windows updates install quicker and faster boot times. 240Gb is plenty large enough for most laptops with a single HDD for both the operating system & lots of files. Gigabyte is a well known trusted brand so hopefully this drive won't let me down.

Good quality solid state drive, it was easy to install and is working fine - purchased to upgrade my laptop to Windows 10. Very pleased with the price and delivery time.

This Gigabyte SSD is currently the UK best buy for performance and price. CCL have priced these to sell well and so they should.

Bought as part of an upgrade to my home pc to contain Windows 10 operating system. Very pleased so far easy to fit, quiet in operation and fast. In hindsight a 500gb would be better long term, however my first ssd and not disappointed. Pros well packaged, easy to fit, quiet in operation at a reasonable price. Cons for me it works well so no real problems so far.

I have recently updated 2 PC's and in each PC I have used one of these drives for Windows 10, paired with a Toshiba 3TB HDD for data. Despite both Pc's being over 5 years old, they are up and running extremely fast. Not a bad result for only 89.84.

I believe that an SSD is a must-have these days. Especially for people that use their PCs (desktop computers) or laptops extensively. It speeds up the computer drastically and can save the life of your old computer by preventing you from throwing it away and allowing you to work faster, be more efficient while using your computer and just in general enjoy working with the computer more, as it is noticeably faster and more responsive. This specific SSD looks and feels to be well built and seems to be a solid product. It should last for a long time, as it does not have any mechanical components, unlike a HDD. But, time will tell. The packaging is also very nice. Overall, money well spent. Worth it 100%. Would buy again. ;)

It works great, it was really cheap for 240gb and i have yet to find any problems

After becoming addicted to DCS I needed to replace my old Samsung HDD as it was taking minutes to load. Installation was quick and easy, re-installing windows was a doddle then wow it booted in seconds! Why hadn't I done this before!

The Gigabyte 240gb ssd is great.It has sped up my pc no end.The only reason it got 4 *'s instead of the 5 was the lack of any software to clone the os, that and there is no ssd health monitor software either.Although this is a small detail,it maybe off putting for some who are new to pc'ing,or are not really tech savvy.But that aside it's a great ssd.Thx CCL for the prompt delivery too,will definitely shop here again.

Perfect fit and easy installation. Performance has made the world of difference to the machine that was evidently being held back by a low rent HDD. Online benchmarks are very good for a low cost unit. Early days for reliability but 3 year warranty gives confidence.

This is a very good drive, very good speed both sending data & receiving data, i use it to store my engineering drawing on, then send them to my cnc machine to produce the job, deffinatley recomend to any one looking for a good drive. Well worth the money, keith
