Do you have you a question about the DisplayPort to HDMI Cable ?

Q: I have one HDMI in my GPU, it is connected to a monitor. will this cable allow me to connect another monitor. And if so will the resolutions be the same?
Answer by Website User on 2nd July 2015
Yes, you'd be able to use the DisplayPort output on the graphics card to connect to a HDMI port with this cable. You should see no difference in available resolutions or picture quality. -Danlevan

Q: Can you confirm that this item will let me use a standard HDMI cable (like I can use with the TV & RPi) to connect to the DisplayPort socket in my Dell U2412M monitor, please?

Q: I have an Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe motherboard and Intel i5 3750k (using iGPU Intel HD 4000) The motherboard has HDMI and Display port. I run 2 monitors that have DVI & HDMI. As the motherboard doesn't have DVI and the HDMI is in use for monitor number 1. Will this adapter work for my 2nd monitor? I have tried an adapter which I purchased from elsewhere and it didn't work so a purchased a display port to HDMI cable that didn't work either. My monitor says no signal and in the iGPU control panel it can't find monitor number 2 even the multi monitor is enabled in bios. Will this one work?
Answer by CCL on 24th December 2012
It should work, but because you state that you have tried two other adapter/cables and they didnt work, this may have the same issue and there maybe a problem with your displayport. You could try and active displayport to HDMI or even the displayport to DVI adapter, alternatively, you could purchase an entry level graphics card which will output to two monitors. Hope this helps.
