The best Hard drive by miles to be storage for videos, photos, rarely used apps as well as other files. Incredibly quiet and fast compared to most hard drives. Would 100% buy this again in the future as more storage will always be great for archiving as well as saving AI models and things like that.

The extra capacity makes me feel like a god, and while not the fastest drive I ever owned, it's still a lot faster than I expected it to be.

I bought the new disk to replace an existing NAS disk that was 99% full. Since it's arrival it has done the job it was bought for i.e giving us a stable backup platform along with extra capacity. Very pleased with the disk.

Cheap storage for a NAS. The slower spin speed will reduce throughput slightly, but will save some power. Got four of them for an 8-bay Synology, and am contemplating another four. No problems thus far. Do recommend.

This harddrive is was just what I needed for my huge collection of personal media. I had a 5tb external 3.0 hd that had started to have some errors. Managed to transfer my media before it give up the ghost. This works as it should &.does what it says it does. No issues on a desktop pc & is running smoothly

So far so good with the drive, it's great as a back up drive for storing. My last barracuda drive is still going well, so hopefully this will be the same.

Was so simple to set up and place into pc. Given me so much more storage for personal storage and games.

Great product. I have a great set up but storage was the thing I was beginning to regret not doing at the beginning. Easy install and after I remembered how to install the new drives in windows it works a treat and is doing all the long term photo, document etc to free up my faster drives to do fast things!

Got this hard drive for 140 at the time and for that price; I can strongly recommend getting this; 8tb is perfect for my workflow where I do 3D Games Design as well as some other stuff which requires large amounts of storage. So far there's been 0 issues though that's expected since I've bought other seagate products and also had no issues with them.

It's got the capacity, but it's not fast! it's a 5400rpm, what do you expect! Delivery from CCL was impeccable as usual, thanks guys!

Great service as always from CCL. I used this drive in my Synology DS216J. Yes the Iron Wolf maybe better but this costs less and I have used many drives over the years 24/7. Can't go wrong at this price for an 8TB drive.
