OK all anyone wants to know really is, does it run games. I cannot cover all games but this was our situation. My son purchased Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. He had a Pentium G4400 with 8gb ram and Radeon R9 380 gfx card. It took an age to load and once loaded it ran at about 1 frame per hour. I had recently built a new computer with this Ryzen 3 1200 3.1Ghz CPU and wondered if it might run better than the Pentium although it was a 6th gen core Pentium and could run many other good games like dead by daylight, friday the 13th etc well. It had a massive issue with needing more cores apparently with his brand new title and basically could not run it. I am expectionally glad to say this Ryzen CPU smashed it and ran the brand new title with the 8gb ram and Radeon R9 380 gfx installed at around 50-80fps and loaded withing seconds. The best thing other than it running the games much better was it is a cheaper CPU than the older Pentium and with the ASRock A320M-HDV mATX Motherboard which I also purchased to build the ryzen/amd computer it works much much better. If you are looking for a quad core CPU to run modern games I recommend this it as it solved our issues. For this price 50 ish quid its a total bargain and yes it can cope with modern games and we have a lot and have tested all that we own and its running good with them all. Get a good graphics card and at least 8GB or ram and its a good setup.
