The partly modular KL-M series has been designed with low budget and system integration in mind. Four models cover the power range from 500 to 850 watts and have the official 80Plus bronze certification. The cooling of the electronics is ensured by a large 120-millimeter fan.
The top model offered here delivers a maximum power of 850 watts and uses top-class technology: while a double-forward circuit is used in the primary range, the manufacturer uses DC-DC technology with independent voltage segregation in the secondary range. Both the efficiency and the precision of the power supply benefit, especially in the case of asymmetrical loads. This 850 watt PSU of the budget series has sufficient connections and power for fast computers. The electronics supply up to 744 watts continuously on the + 12 volt line, on the rails with +3.3 and +5 volt additional 100 watts are provided.
In addition to the 20 + 4-pin for the mainboard, the Kolink KL-850M has a 4 + 4-pin connector for powering the processor and four 6 + 2-pin connectors for up to two fast dedicated graphics cards. Six SATA and three Molex connectors are available for the other components. The 20 + 4-pin and 4 + 4-pin connector as well as two 6 + 2-pin connectors are permanently connected to the power supply. The remaining cables can be connected as required. The Kolink KL-850M is thus one of the most affordable options for power supply with partial modular cable management.
