Tough. Ready. Scalable.

Seagate’s latest Ironwolf NAS drives offer industry leading quality at great prices. Bring new life to your network attached storage and unleash the full potential of your data. Designed to be always on and always working, Ironwolf is further enhanced with AgileArray™ technology for increased system agility and reliability.

Built into every IronWolf NAS drive is Seagate’s own innovative AgileArray™ technology which enables dual-plane balancing and complete RAID optimisation in environments supporting multiple bays. This is an essential ingredient for multi-user environments which demand 24x7 accessibility and snappy, reliable performance.

IronWolf Health Management

As with any network storage set-up, reliability is needed. The IronWolf excels in this, using their own Health Management system, Seagate have given you the tools to monitor and manage your drive constantly. Focusing on preventing loss of data and recovery this pushes the boundaries of securing your data.

You can also set the drive to notify you if any errors are flagged up in the system with the DiskStation Manager 6.1 included in the software package. This attention to detail is why Seagate are the pinnacle of NAS storage and why the IronWolf will be perfect for you to boost your work rate. Seagate have maximised the potential when in a RAID configuration with Error Recovery Control that redefines responsiveness and combat lag to give a quick, clean user experience where required.

Multi-Bay and NAS-Ready With Built-In RV Sensor

Safeguarding against any kind of loss of data is paramount to Seagate and their RV sensors add another layer of security to the drive. Rotational Vibration sensors manage multi-bay vibration and long term degradation to allow the drive to maintain a consistent performance over a long period of use.

The IronWolf can be completely operational 24/7 in terms of accessing data and can handle a workload of around 180TB per year, making it just as proficient when handling hours of movies for your home cinema, or sensitive documents at work. The Ironwolf has a 3 year warranty and is available in sizes 1TB, 2TB, 3TB, 4TB, 6TB, 8TB, 10TB and 12TB

This is working perfectly in my NAS and it is much quicker than the previous HDD. I am getting a write speed of about 80Mb/sec. Easy to install and the NAS does regular tests on the drive.

Though it has been a while since purchase, I bought 5x4TB Ironwolf drives and all are running fine apart from 2x4TB drives have started clicking heavily and although they still seem to work in my RAID 5 array, I may have to RMA two of them. I'm still extremely pleased with my purchase and I would buy them again. Thanks

The Seagate nas drive is a reliable product anyway so only the price point distinguishes sellers. This particular seller has it a couple of cheaper and also packaged very VERY well for delivery.

So far, so good. Used this in Synology media server.

Ordered a hard disk for my NAS, and I am happy with the purchase. Sometimes stores don't protect disks well enough, which wasn't the case. Delivery was within the time framed as well.

Excellent build and reliable NAS hard drive.

August 2019

Great value drives for my Synology NAS. No louder than the others they replaced - you can hear them when in use. Performance wise, they don't seem much different to the 7200rpm, but smaller desktop drives previously installed.

Ken Starnes

June 2019

Bought 2 for the Synology DiskStation DS218j NAS. So far so good but as it's only been a month since purchase.Only time will tell.

Keith Ware

June 2019

Mr Zipf

April 2019

Item arrived well packaged against damage and was straightforward to install and setup. Hoping for several years use.

Martin

March 2019

These were fitted easily into a Synology NAS drive. I have not used these 2 drives much but they appear to be quick and quiet and one day I look forward to using them to their true potential.

Paul

January 2019

Already tried 2 of these in my Synology NAS so after a couple of months I've replaced the other 2 drives as well. These are quieter and less vibration than the WD REDs I originally had installed. Excellent drives and good service from CCL.

Richard

November 2018

Very well packaged, lots of air bags. Drives perfect for my Nas setup. Quick delivery and option to pickup from my local collection point.

Dave

October 2018

As expected, arrived quickly, packed well against rough handling of couriers,

Paul

October 2018

Used to upgrade 2 drives in a Synology NAS. Working just fine, quiet, fast and will upgrade the other 2 drives at some point. I chose Seagate because another one of the original Western Digital Red drives began showing errors while in warranty. Returned to WD and replaced but used it elsewhere.
