Whether you're catching up on the latest show on the Internet or viewing documents, the BenQ GL2250HM LED monitor is the perfect choice for you in style! Featuring a dynamic ratio of 12M:1, speakers, response time of 2ms and DVI and HDMI connector, this 21.5W 16:9 LED monitor delivers you the audio-visual enjoyment. LED backlighting offers significant advantages over the CCFL technology used in older LED monitors. These advantages encompass not only performance metrics such as higher dynamic contrast, no light leakage and flicker-free, but also environmental factors, like a manufacturing process and disposal that produces fewer pollutants. The GL2250HM comes with an ultra-high dynamic contrast ratio of 12M:1 to add colour depth and definition to darkened and complex motion pictures, so that everything you see, from the brightest white to the darkest black, is perfectly rendered to deliver the clearest, smoothest picture performance during movies and video games. Whether you're listening to music or watching your favourite film, simply turn on the speakers to experience the audio-visual fun! The latest HDMI high-speed multimedia interface makes these monitors incredibly convenient to use - now you can enjoy digital entertainment effortlessly even with additional multimedia equipment in the future.

Q: Hello! I am trying to figure out whether the monitor displays through the HDMI connection. From the monitor's menu I switch to HDMI input, then all it displays is the desktop's wallpaper - nothing else at all. The graphic card I currently use is AMD Radeon HD 6570, and in its Settings, it shows both DVI and HDMI connections. I would really appreciate your advise on how to connect and use correctly the HDMI connection. Thanks!
Answer by Dan on 21st January 2016
It sounds like you have the monitor connected by both DVI and HDMI to the computer, so the HDMI output is a second screen of an extended desktop. Unplug the DVI cable and the HDMI output should then be the primary. -Danlevan
