Intel X-Series HEDT Processors for Socket 2066

Intel's X-Series processors are designed for High End Desktops, or "HEDT". They generally have the highest core and thread counts, quad-channel memory support and have the latest technologies.

There are three ranges available. There is a Core™ i5/i7 range that covers the entry-level, using Kaby Lake technologies to save money and provide a low entry point. The true X-Series begins with the Core™ i7 7800X and above, which feature either 6 or 8 cores and Hyper Threading. These are then followed by the Core™ i9 range, which go from the 10 core i9 7900X all the way to the incredible 18 core i9-7980XE!
