CCL Computers is proud to be working with Future Artists, HTC, Cooler Master and VR Manchester in the creation and support of "VR Arts", the UK's first dedicated Virtual Reality creative space. Located in Manchester, the VR Arts space is dedicated to the exploration, experimentation and creation of using Virtual Reality to connect digital arts and traditional art fields under one roof.
For the past two years, founder Mark Ashmore has been on a fact finding mission worldwide, talking to leading VR creators in Silicon Valley about content creation and hardware development, giving lectures to the European Animation Industry in Munich and bringing together leading hardware manufacturers to support VR Arts.
CCL Computers have worked closely with Cooler Master to create three VR Ready systems for the launch of VR Arts, from the small but powerful CCL Ghost to the incredibly powerful CCL Spectre. Each system uses carefully selected components to ensure stable frame rates in VR applications to help prevent any fatigue when using a VR headset for extended periods. At the same time, they're capable of providing incredible graphical fidelity in VR (plus normal gaming if you choose)!
VR Arts will be using these systems to help power the UK's first Virtual Reality creative space, working together with VR Manchester to help develop world class Virtual Reality experiences.
