Q: Will this keep a FX 8350 cool, I have just got one and it keeps cuttingy computer out when I load games with the stock cooler.

Yes, as this is a 120mm radiator, so the best place to put it is the back exhaust

Q: What is the maximum heat dissipation of this cooler? could it handle a heavily overclocked i5 8600k

According to the official Cooler Master website: http://www.coolermaster.com/tdp-and-socket-compatibility/ It supports TDP up to 180 watts - i.e. pretty much all CPUs on the market today, but not sure about overclocking. But if you're overclocking a CPU with a TDP of 65w, then obviously this cooler should offer enough headroom to cool it. But in the case of i5-8600k which is a 95w TDP, not sure how much power/heat would increase with overclocking. By the way, I've also heard that TDP and heat generated are not directly proportional, and TDP is a general guide only - but not sure how true that is? As a side point, interestingly, the official site mentions the fan has a MTTF of 160,000 hours (18.3 years), while the pump only has an MTTF of 70,000 hours (8 years)?!

the only hardship i had was the bracket and screws, i had to give up, but finally did it get it on this was hard only as my left hand as a disability . so i decided not to use it.. still great item..

A little disappointed after I owned the AM3 version of this for years, and used to keep my idle temp under 20 degrees. This one idles around 40 degrees. It's also noisier than the standard cooler that came with my CPU (one of the reasons I wanted to upgrade was the noise I could hear from the standard) This Cooler Master cooler also doesn't fit in the rear of a Cooler Master case. I've had to rearrange my set up as it'll only fit on the top. Shame really, but I guess you get what you pay for!

Absoulety brilliant hardware, much better cpu cooling performance than my old air cooler, I have an 8core cpu, this cooler master keeps under control no problem, easy to install on my am3+ motherboard, runs very quitely even under heavy gaming. Would definately recommend this product

Very easy to fit to the CPU, lots of different brackets for different CPU types. Very good quality fittings. This is not a negative, just a word of warning, the pipes from the cooler to the radiator are VERY stiff so don't offer much flex, I had to try several radiator mounting positions to get it into a position where the pipes were not kinked or pinched. In terms of its cooling ability, I have an i5-6500 and mid game the temp tops out at 45/50c. I was getting 60/70c on the stock air cooler. It's also practically silent. Would highly recommend this cooler.

Had to buy a modern cooler as AMD changed the backplate for AM4. This cooler was easy to fit with no chance of sliced knuckles as of older air coolers. Very happy with the air flow vs fan noise.

for such a low priced cooler , I was very impressed with performance . I use it on my test bench even coped well with an i7 7700k @5.0GHz
